Ewe & I Cafe
Ewe and I is next to The Gallery. So, after you have enjoyed the current exhibition and visited the craft units, you can take the weight off your feet and treat yourself to a well earned bite to eat. The decor is in empathy with the location, welsh dressers, hops and tablecloths making the cafe a cosy place to relax, and in good weather the terrace is delightful.

A family run business, all food served by the proprietor, Sue Jones, is fresh, locally sourced and prepared on the premises. Teas are sourced from Twinings and Fairtrade, and coffees from Taylors of Harrogate.

  • Breakfasts are available in the morning
  • Morning and afternoon tea is served from 10am until noon, and from 2-4pm, when you could try a savoury cheese and watercress scone or a luscious cream tea!
  • Lunch is served 12-2.30pm. Sandwiches are made with fresh local bread and home-made fillings.
  • Freshly made smoothies and Farmer Gosden's ice cream.
  • A selection of salads and daily specials are displayed on the blackboard.
  • A choice of desserts including our home-made cakes, all made in house.
There is seating for 45 people inside, or enjoy the sunny, attractively planted patio. Disabled access, diabetic and coeliac diets are catered for, and families are welcome. Outside catering and business lunches are available, and all cakes can be made to order. Booked coaches welcome.
