We are a group of artists and crafters and we’re holding an exhibition in the barn at The Fairground Craft Centre at Weyhill from 23rd to 27th November.
I’ll be showcasing each of the artists on our social media, and in a little more detail here on the blog.
I’ll kick things off with me. I’m Jen Best and I’m a textile artist, author, and teacher. I’ve been working with some form of textiles all my life, and my favourite medium is wool. I take my inspiration from the world around me, especially trees and the sea.
I’m currently diving into freeform stitching with wild abandon alongside my long standing love of Dorset buttons, and I’ll have a range of stitched journals, Dorset button jewellery, greetings cards, and my textile art pieces for sale at the exhibition.
