Beaker Button is taking part in Hampshire Open Studios again this year, from 19th to 28th August.
There is a fantastic app on the Hampshire Open Studios home page which you can download to plan your visit, with searchable areas and date filters.
We're open every day of HOS except the Sundays. We'll have a selection of Jen Best Textile Art for sale, and our very first Strolling for Stitches exhibition.
We're very excited about this, as we've been working hard all year creating some fabulous pieces inspired by our walks around our local area.
I've created a dedicated website page for Strolling for Stitches, with information about setting up your own group, as well as some of the images from ours. This page will be added to as we get time so check back to see what's new.
Friday of this week I'll be setting up for the exhibition, and displaying my art ready for opening on Saturday. We've been transforming the shop into a forest, and coral reef (more on this in September) and we're going to be running drop in and stitch coral sessions throughout Hampshire Open Studios.
Come and make a piece of coral, fish, or seaweed inspired by our coral reef, and you can either leave it for us to add to our project, or take it home to start your own coral reef!
